Additional Info: Mr Grant was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on January 7, 1894, the son of Duncan Grant from South Side, Boularderie, N.S. Alexander was working as a gas engineer and living in Regina, Saskatchewan when he enlisted in the 95th Reginemt on January 3, 1917. He was one of 150 men enlisted into the 95th Regiment as a reinforcement draft for the 28th Battalion (service numbers 2000001 through 2000150). At the time of his enlistment, Mr. Grant was5'6" tall with brown hair, blue eyes and a fair compexion. Private Grant survived the war.
