Additional Info: Born on March 20, 1893 in Islington, London, England. He was 5'6" with brown hair and blue eyes and was working as a clerk in Windthorst, Saskatchewan when he was enlisted in the 1st Saskatchewan Depot Battalion in Regina, Saskatchewan on November 29, 1917. His father was William Brown of the Plplars on Norfolk Avenue in Letchworth, Hertsfordshire, England. He was discharged on March 28, 1919 at Dispersal Station "0" in Military District 12.

He returned to England at some point after the Great War and was living at No. 98 Wilbury Road on Letchworth in 1945. On November 19 of that year he enrolled in the Royal Marine Special Reserve, serving as a Constable until he was discharged at his own request on January 14, 1949.
