Regiment/Unit: 28th (North-west) Battalion
Additional Info: David McMaster held a class D teaching certificate, was teaching at Brunel school and living in Cookstown, Ontario when he enlisted in the 37th Battalion. He joined the 28th battalion as a replacement and served in France. Mr. McMaster was reccomended for the Military Medal on September 25, 1916 and was wounded at the Somme two days later on September 27. David was discharged on September 30, 1917.
