Additional Info: Samuel was born in England on August 2, 1890. He was a carpenter and living at 214 Pearl Street Port Arthur, Ontario with his Wife, Annie when he enlisted as a private in the 28th Battalion at Port Arthur on October 23, 1914. Sergeant Sitch was 5'8" tall with Dark brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. When he enlisted he had an operation mark under his right armpit. He initially served in No. 4 Platoon and survived the war.
